San Francisco Bridal Fairs
Tigresse participated in two local wedding fairs in January, the first being the Modern Bridal show at the San Francisco Ritz-Carlton on January 7th.
We shared a space with Dilez Sezen, Turkish-born, SF-based designer of elegant, sumptuous, immaculately crafted jewelry. Dilek and I enjoy collaborating, by creating custom, complementary looks for our clients - Tigresse designs the wedding gown, and Dilek the matching jewelry. A recent example is our red and ivory destination wedding gown in Thai silk exquisitely enhanced by Dilek’s three-string necklace & bracelet of perfectly matching garnet beads.
The other bridal fair in which we participated was the San Francisco Wedding Fair at the Four Seasons on January 14th, an event with a variety of lovely wedding vendors, yummy hors d’œuvres, champagne, and a verandah dedicated to the decadence of chocolate. The fair is an annual event, a must for any Bay Area bride.
We shared a space with fabulous event planner Amy Nichols. Amy also writes a wedding newsletter/website: Amy’s Guide to All Things Bridal with heaps of useful information for brides and the wedding party.
